I. Residential Architecture
Whether designing a new home from the ground up or thoughtfully reimagining an existing one, I approach each project with the belief that great architecture begins by understanding how a family lives. My experience includes tear-down and new construction homes, complete gut renovations, partial remodels, and home additions. From the earliest stages of planning through final construction documentation, I guide clients through a comprehensive architectural design process, including site planning, schematic design, design development, and permit-ready construction drawings.
Every project is shaped by its unique site, architectural context, and the family who will call it home. Whether preserving the character of an existing residence or creating something entirely new, my goal is to design spaces that feel timeless, purposeful, and deeply personal.
II. Architectural Interiors
Architectural interiors are where the vision for a home truly comes to life. This phase of the design process focuses on the permanent finishes and fixtures that shape the character, functionality, and overall experience of a space.
I guide clients through each selection, helping them make informed decisions that align with both the architecture of the home and their personal style. The process begins with developing a clear design direction through concept imagery and collaborative discussions, followed by detailed interior elevations and finish specifications that communicate the design intent to the construction team.
Architectural interior selections include flooring, floor and wall tile, countertops, plumbing fixtures, decorative and architectural lighting, hardware, paint colors, wall finishes, wallcoverings, and other permanent elements throughout the home. Every material and detail is thoughtfully considered to create a cohesive and timeless result.
During this phase, I serve as both architect and interior designer, collaborating closely with homeowners, builders, and trades to ensure that every decision contributes to a well-executed final product. My goal is to create interiors that feel intentional, refined, and uniquely reflective of the people who live within them.
III. Interior Design and Furnishings
The final layer of a home is what transforms it from a beautifully designed space into a place that feels lived in, welcoming, and uniquely personal. During this phase, I serve exclusively as an interior designer, focusing on the furnishings, textiles, artwork, and finishing touches that bring the overall vision to life.
Building upon the established design concept and mood boards, the process begins with detailed furniture plans that ensure each room is thoughtfully arranged for both functionality and comfort. From there, I curate every element of the interior, selecting furnishings, rugs, window treatments, lighting, artwork, accessories, and décor that work together to create a cohesive and timeless design.
I manage the procurement and installation process, coordinating the many details required to execute the design seamlessly. My involvement extends to the final styling of each space, from the placement of furniture and accessories to the hanging of artwork and finishing touches that give a home its character.
This comprehensive approach ensures that when clients walk through their doors, their home is fully realized and move-in ready. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, creating a space that feels refined, comfortable, and distinctly their own.
